I am the original cookie monster. On my journey with Weight Watchers I have determined the ‘point value’ of many cookies. And most of them are too big a percentage to be included on any kind of regular basis.
Except these Devil’s Food cookies. They have saved me some evenings when…
The beloved elements of the Zacchaeus story of Luke 19 are unforgettable to most of us. He was short. He was despised by his community (with good reason). He climbed a tree in order to get a good view of Jesus. Jesus noticed him and invited himself to Zacchaeus’ house. Zacchaeus committed to becoming generous and obedient. Jesus answered critics of his friendship with Zacchaeus with the…
Thanks, Spotify, for making the new White Album Hillsong remix available!
I am immanently unqualified to talk about temptation. Well, except maybe giving in to it. For way too long I have been tempted by the same old sins. Either Satan is not very creative or I’m boringly stuck in the same place where I started this Christian race.

HOLY. What do you think about when you think of that…
I forgot about this awesome song … goes well with my sermon for tomorrow.
Your grace is enough, more than I need. One of my favorite Hillsong praises.
I want to reflect on my one week in cable purgatory, which ended today. I learned some things about myself and about the untethered television world out there.
I learned I didn’t like it.
Well, that was an easy lesson.
You know, we can reflect upon the time when we didn’t have computers and cell phones and televisions and radios and indoor plumbing and chewing gum, but who feels better after…
